What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. The same rules cover other browser storage, like local storage, so this page covers both. Some storage is needed to make a site work. Other kinds track or measure how you browse, and we don’t use those.

What we use

This site sets no cookies and does no tracking. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking of any kind.

The only thing the site stores on your device belongs to the chat assistant in the corner, and only once you actually use it. If you never touch the chat, nothing is stored at all. When you do use it, the chat keeps in your browser’s local storage:

  • A conversation reference, so your chat doesn’t lose its thread as you move between pages. It rotates when a conversation ends.
  • A device reference, so the assistant can offer a light welcome-back if you return on the same device. You can remove it at any time (below).
  • Your chat history and the name you give the assistant, so the conversation stays readable to you as you browse.

These exist only to make the chat you asked for work. They stay on your device, they are not used to track you across other sites, and they are never used for advertising.

Clearing the chat’s storage

Use “Reset chat” in the chat menu, which removes everything above including the device reference, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.

The contact form’s security check

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out, which loads only on the contact page. It is a security measure, not a tracker. How Cloudflare handles that check is covered in our privacy notice.

If we ever add more

If we ever add a non-essential cookie (for example website analytics), we’ll ask for your consent first, through a proper banner, before it loads. You’ll be able to accept or decline freely, change your mind later, and declining will be as easy as accepting. We won’t use pre-ticked boxes or treat carrying on browsing as consent. Where we can measure the site without a tracking cookie, we will.

More on your data

How we handle personal data generally is in our privacy notice.
